You batter believe it…it’s Pancake Day next week, with Shrove Tuesday landing on the 1^st of March this year!

Shrove Tuesday, or so-called Pancake Day, is the traditional feast day before the start of Lent on Ash Wednesday. Traditionally during Lent, Christians would give up rich, tasty foods such as butter, eggs, sugar and fats, for 46 days leading up to Easter.Leaving Shrove Tuesday as the last day to indulge in them – and what better way to enjoy butter, eggs, sugar and fat but with a delicious pancake!

Today, people continue to whip and flip these delicious treats on Shrove Tuesday —and they add all kinds of tasty toppings, too. But what’s your topping of choice, and what does it say about you?
